This timeless family kitchen is a modular kitchen from our DAY collection, with a walk-in pantry.
This timeless family kitchen is a modular kitchen from our DAY collection, with a walk-in pantry.

This space was designed for a family, a social environment with no appliances on the top of the island to allow it to become the central hub and to encourage guests to gather around (and drink wine!) Towards the back of the island there is a wine fridge, being accessible, as well as lots of drawers to make it a practical working space.
Reflecting onto the other side, the hob and sink are positioned where they are to allow the client to have lots of space to be experimental on the island. The client highlighted during the design process that they are messy cooks, therefore it was important to have clear workstations. Underneath, there are drawers designed to store pots and pans. The splashback is a Caesarstone raw concrete, a beautiful non-porous material with a matte finish, being a surface which is easy to clean and maintain- perfect for messy chefs.
Looking through into the pantry and the glass window, the space has been opened up to allow lots of light to enter the space to give it a bigger feel. The tiles are bespoke Popham tiles, in a traditional colour combination inspired by artichokes with warm and inviting tones.
